Rumor has it that in exactly two months time BMS will be released in march!
So who here is going to make the BMS Co-op mod? How is it going to be presented to the community?
I understand that BMS dev team has canceled the Co-op as it was too much to handle. They did mention that other people might be making the Co-op mod.
That is a bad rumor, and you would do wise to forget it.
And no, no coop in the near future.
To be honest, I find it hard to see how a Co-op mode would make the game better in any way.
Of course, Co-op is a lot of fun in other games like Gears of War, Halo, and so on, but really… “half life 1- coop” ?
Anyone wanna explain how this would work? 
This is one of the things I’ve really been wondering about while beeing unable to ask due to closed registrations.

One person plays Gordon Freeman and the other people in the COOP server play security guards. I suppose 
the rumor of 2 months until release was started by people who read things but don’t comprehend them. Raminator recently stated that the mod would NOT be released anytime within the next two months. That didn’t state that the mod would be released after that time, simply that it wouldn’t be released before then. People who can’t comprehend that have taken it to mean a release date of late Feb or early March.

The coop is cancelled.
that has nothing to do with co-op.
Someone will make a coop mod or server for sure. Right now in HL’s server list I can guess that there is a least a couple of coop servers and even Opposing Force has 2 or 3.

The perfect example of a newbie joining the forums and asking questions about things that are already known. (Not implying that I’m not a newbie, but I lurked the forums for a year before joinging).

nah, just kidding, but i hate it when people like the OP take stuff a developer says, like when catz said “don’t expect anything from the mod in the next two months” and turns it into “HOLY SHIT THE MOD IS GONNA BE RELEASED IN TWO MONTHS!”
