Where to get blackmesa-setup.exe?

OK, so it would be nice if the mirrors were actual ‘mirrors’ - ie provided the same content.

The mirror I chose only provided me with the .7z file, and there is no way I’m downloading another 3 gigs from a different mirror just to get the setup app… Where can I download just blackmesa-setup.exe?

Have you taken a look inside the .7z archive, yet?

It may be that there are both the .exe and the actual .7z archive inside.

IMPORTANT: Make sure the files have the following MD5 hash values:

502B417A7857C3FFB82A8B2C93EE1ECF *blackmesa-setup.exe
F1D86575816F4C6994A5657EEBF76409 *BlackMesa.7z

There are some sites that have the setup .exe and the .7z archive together in a .zip archive. Don’t use those files because the MD5 hash for the .7z archive is incorrect.

Shacknews had it, but for some reason it’s gone.

Yet it’s still listed as a mirror on the main site.

the one above all’s post sorted it out.

There was no file within teh .7z that i downloaded, it was just the data pack. … incredibly annoying when ‘mirrors’ arent mirroring!
