Where are the crunchy cockroaches ??

I didn’t see any cockroaches in the game yet. Have you removed them or what? They were cool.

(Correct me if I’m wrong: I think cockroaches were in the 2012 mod version; Were they or not?)

If you removed them, please tell us the reason. Also, will you add them back??? PLEASE !!!

unfortunately the crunchy cockroaches are not possible in the source engine due to them being particles now but they look much more realistic than they did back in Hl1.

There are cockroaches, but unfortunately they are not crunchable since they’re particle effects.

I think it’s less to do with the engine and more to do with the fact that they are particle effects now instead of npc’s like in operation black mesa for example.
