Wheatley High-Poly Model

Chotolarg, you’re trying to be smart, but only managed to make yourself look like a complete idiot. Exellent work.

Also, the turret is too short, but I guess you know that?

Pyro, you just proved that you’re an idiot.
There are also NURBS and Metas…

don’t forget voxels! But then again of those were voxel models I would like to know how far in the future did you go to steal that voxel rendering technology and if I can barrow your time machine.

Hes using 3ds Max though, not very suitable for NURBS modeling (Maya would be better).

Hell yes. :awesome:
Having the eye being green, (As the Gman’s eyes are green [In HL2 anyway]), but the epicness is enough anyway. :3

Well, I actually painted some turquoise and yellow into the eye to make it more like his but it didn’t come out too well in the render unfortunately. :frowning:

As for which method of modeling I’m using; plain old polygonal stuff. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ah no it’s epic either way. :stuck_out_tongue:

Love the Gman’s door you put behind him, only just noticed that. :3

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I realized that after I posted.

I’ve never heard of those though.

Sorry for not updating lately; have a 1920x1080 wallpaper.

I have a 1920x1200 monitor :fffuuu:

Haha, you could just crop out the edges slightly or I’ll make it for you if you want.

I’m a Supreme Commander fan. Could you maybe make a Wheatley Cybran ACU?
Doesn’t sound like the best idea but I’d love it.

Pretty bad pic… Didn’t find a better one.

Your work is amazing. Love to look at your portfolio and drop my jaw sometime.

I would suggest a HAL 9000 Wheatly but that’d be the anger core, so… KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I already made a H.A.L 9000 Wheatley; it’s on the first post too.

… I forgot. Good job on that too.

I want a more hi-res pic of that version.

Your work is excellent. Truly excellent.

Keep on modeling (and texturing)!

I honestly can’t wait for these high poly models to be mainstream graphics. I mean we’re not far from it, but I just can’t wait for games to looks so real that I can touch them. Nice work there Harry.

Awesome work there, sir.
