No love for Xenogears? The writing quality far surpasses that of most FF games that I’ve played so far. Plus, they did that one with a rotating polygonal world map instead of pre-rendered backgrounds like FFVIII (released shortly afterwards)
I enjoyed Xenogears, but didn’t play it nearly as much as I would have liked to.
By the time I learned about it, it was already way to expensive, and I was an unemployed high school student.
Yeah, unemployment tends to hamper one’s ability to amass a video game collection. I bought the most games when I was employed and had a consistent cash flow.
Square (fuck Enix) needs to stop being dicks and put Xenogears on the PSN IMO.

Though Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon is my fav in general.

If they brought it out on the European PSN before the NA PSN, I’d make an account there and get it, as long as it was in English.
