What's your bandwidth?

How fast can you download games with that?

I’m not paying for it so…it’s all good.

I’m guessing it takes him 15 seconds to download 1 GB.

Closest I’ve seen to that speed in this country was a Speedtest result my friend posted from uni in Brisbane - I think it was around 925/940 Mb/s.

Tethering from my phone right now.
Well, it’s better than what I grew up with, at any rate.

I found this out as well. After trying a server much closer to me, the speed went down by 10Mbps. I found out that every time I was using Speedtest, it was ALWAYS using the closest COMCAST server to test my speed.

Now… if that isn’t a little suspicious, than I don’t know what is.

Seems a bit odd, to be sure.

I’d be lying if I said I trusted Comcast. They’re actually using my router to send out a wi-fi signal for some nationwide network or some shit.

Fuck you man! I want Google Fiber SO BADLY! But they don’t have any fucking lines in Minnesota!! :fffuuu: :’(

Someday… Google will free the enslaved, unfortunately people of the United ‘SovietCast’ Socialist Cable Company.

I’m fairly sure Comcast is everything but communistic or socialistic.

So a company that controls how much the entire US pays for their internet (yes, they have control over ISP prices dues to the fact that they have a monopoly on the business), has been shown to purposely slow down bandwidth to companies and websites that don’t agree with them.

They force companies to PAY THEM for faster bandwidth to their customers. It’s been proven that they sometimes censor certain Internet pages, as well as the news to protect their corporate interest…

No, they’re not a democratic, capitalistic company; they’re fascists that need to burn in hell.
