IMO, i think this will soon become as big as HL itself! :fffuuu:

Nope. I’ve been watching this from the start and the only things that were revealed were a couple strange pictures. Check that wikibruce website for all the known puzzles.

Essentially it’s a video project from 2 guys from the Netherlands. The website is a “simulation” these guys threw together to see how us people would react to it. Valve, the producers of LOST, and the 2 developers of WITB all have stated that this is NOT a viral marketing campaign for any movie, tv series, or video game. The site is to be updated for it’s “next big phase” August 6th. It’s simply a video project for a college class.

But, but i’ve seen an interview in which the creator states that he has the whole story ready and there will be a whole 90 minute movie made on this.

Here >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8rRb4z0gVA

So he’s already the story and plans to do a full length 90min movie? If it gets the same ambiguous and “figure it out on your own” storyline like Half-Life I’m already sold… no bought

I hope he deosn’t sign up on a deal with FOX though. They will most likely screw up the whole concept, make it a hollywood flick :stuck_out_tongue: . He should stay independant.

I totally agree! This guy has serious potential! You never know, he may just be a George Lucas in the making.

Ya, but it’s cant be called a movie. Maybe “fan art” at best. Don’t get me wrong, I love these guys and i’m all hyped up about it too. Just don’t expect too much.

I beg to differ. I think this thing will be big soon. Just an opinion, like yours.

Of course! :stuck_out_tongue:

lol

ah btw, i made a desktop for the whole thing. It’s not too good and resolution is shit, but you can see it here on my flickr. I’ll be making a better one when I find the time.

Pretty cool dude, looks great! Would look better in a higher res though.

Here’s whats in the box:

Yeah… This might as well be Eon8. It has pretty much nothing to do with Half Life, the portal and the BM and Aperture logos, the resemblences pretty much stop there.

EDIT: @Imonfire: Oh lol

God I hope not. One George Lucas is more than enough.

Go to the Babel Research website. Type 59462 at the text thingy at the upper right corner. When you hover your pointer over it, it says “The box=???”.

Then, this will pop up in the text box.

“As of 6th of august all remote systemchecks have come to a halt. Please contact local authorities or use remote any remote accesspoint.”

Also notice the black cat popping up at the lower right corner randomly.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
