there’s this commercial going around about this super smart kid, he’s getting funding for his new, innovative, and stylish invention.
first, the picture of a normal bus
now, i present to you, his stunning and simply amazing green shield bus
he got twenty five thousand USD
what is this i dont even
BRILLIANT!
CUTTING DOWN THE MILEAGE BY ADDING UNNESSARY WEIGHT!
BREAKING THE CAPS LOCK KEY??
BRILLIANT
What indeed.
25 grand isn’t very much money when it comes to research.
What the hell does it even do? Where is this commercial you speak of?
it’s this pepsi commercial, where they fund kids who are doing science and other witchcraft
this guy and his work, it’s not this exact commercial, that one’s got video of him and his miniature wind tunnel, with a clay bus and all that
Well, I’m disliking it to show Pepsi that they’re dumbasses.
/internetoughguy
I want fifty grand for my research project
a computer made of weed
So what if he gets $25k? He has to spend it on research anyway, and as it was stated earlier when it comes to research 25 grand is not that much.
I want to go on the record as saying greenshields is a retarded name though.
that’s a fucking terrible idea
I need funding for my alcohol research! Give me monies please!
So it won’t need a fan then?
Yes it will. Overheating is required, the fan helps channel the smoke.
Wouldn’t a bus with a sheet of glass on the front need more window wipers?..
Probably. But most teens are pretty fucking stupid, and then the “Everyone’s Special” group goes off and gives an autistic kid the ability to buy whatever the fuck he wants to spend on his design. There’s 60 billion other ways to make a bus more fuel efficient anyway, like cutting unneeded areas of space.
EDIT: found this in the comments.
this is such a flawed idea, what was Pepsi thinking by supporting this? First of all, school buses drive so slow and stop so frequently that drag coefficients mean almost nothing, hence the reason they are so boxy to begin with second of all, the premise is grossly oversimplified and REAL wind tunnel tests might reveal it actually has a higher drag coefficient due to skin friction furthermore, what about rain/snow/etc.? no windshield wipers, defrosters, etc. terrible idea, dumb move Pepsi.
PWNED. Pepsi should just stick to trying to copy Coca-Cola’s formula.
What are the odds this kid just spends all the money on candy?
ah ahahahahaha, Pepsi
