What part of Black Mesa do you want to stay most true to the original!

You want them to release it on CD, followed by a PS2 version in a few years?

They already cancelled the Dreamcast version

Then it should be leaked soon enough

on a rail

I would love to see that part in unforeseen consequences when you find a zombie on a chair in front of a biping computer and the zombie shaking his head(crab) like crazy in this mod, that freaked me out when I first seen that, it’s just so creepy

this + high rez

The Nihilanth’s death!

There’s always one…

I’d be scared if causing them to talk to you just before they died would result in their gibbed corpses saying “You aren’t going to leave me here, Gordon?” Once you waited long enough.

the grafix

That’s what I’ve been hoping for all of these years. I plan on swapping out the voice acting/music with the original content.

I’m sure the old, low-quality voice recording will not clash with the high-quality everything else at all.

You can always mod HL Source with hi-res textures and models if a 1:1 remake is all you wanted.

Always hoped this little Easter egg would make it in. If not, maybe have Carlos’ name up there instead?

I don’t get it. It’s a complete remake, why would you want to stick the old stuff in it? It’s doing a disservice to all the hard work the devs did and also missing the whole point of it.

The original game is not going anywhere.

he knows what you’re saying

If you want a 1:1 remake, buy Half-Life: Source. Trolololol.

What an asshole thing to do. At least play through the game once with the shit they spent 8 years working on.

I would expect any changes will be for the best. Believe me you’ll still have a pretty good idea of what to expect from map to map……it’s just going to be SO MUCH BETTER!

You will forget about Half life after you have played the mod. It will raise your knowledge and perception of game development and design so much that you will never want to see Half life again.

ALL OF IT

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
