All of the RC, Xen, Blast Pit, and calling in those air strikes.
Oh, and the Gargantua scenes! Can’t wait to see what’s been done with them.

I’m really looking forward to turn Freeman into a blood thirsty killer, killing scientists, eating headcrabs, going to law school, ect.
I cant wait!
I wanna see the tram, fa’sho.
But to be cool, I’ll spawn T-Pain on my tram.
" I’m on a tram motherfucka don’t you ever forget! "
I’ll be ecstatic to see a fully functional Black Mesa facility, complete with multiple personal and announcement systems.
(In other words I’m looking forward to Inbound the most)
Still as perceptive as ever, I see. It will serve you well when you are avoiding getting killed by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
Which are, of course, Gordon Freeman, John Freeman, Henry Freeman, and Jake Snake.
(Ugh, Squirrelking is, like, SOO five minutes ago.)
I wanna see the rocket take off!
And also how the Blast Pit fight is handled. It oughta be kickass!
What exactly are you all expecting at the Blast Pit area? Some sort of fantabulous castle laden with Cookies and Ice Cream which is guarded by the infamous Tentacles? I really don’t see how you could improve on the area THAT much… Then again like I said, I always disliked that part
Sure, the scripted sequences will be awesome, but so will all the other ones…
I want to see the part with the T-rexs.
“There won’t be any T-rexs in Black Mesa.”
Than why the hell am I hanging out here so much?
“Because you will get to shoot lots of aliens.”
Oh, that’s cool too.
I want to see how they handle enemy placement, and the sections with tanks.
Oh Raminator you mischevious little scamp. Toying with human emotions like that.
Anyways, just seeing the Black Mesa facility in it’s entirety, polished to a mirror sheen will be great. Another part I’m looking forward to is the character models in DM, Seeing old favorites updated along with a brand new Gordon model. Plus I heard that we’ll be able to do a little customization to our players, so that’ll be fun.

And I’m looking forward to staring at the concrete walls you see when barney opens the door to let you out of the tram. Best part of HL/BM, HANDS DOWN.
But seriously I just want to play with all the weapons:awesome:
Am looking forward to spotting the G-Man, whether he will still be in all the same places, or maybe he might pop up in a few different places :3
The levels I’m most looking forward to are, Inbound, Blast Pit (I really liked that area, the banging sounds from the tentacles are/were so damn headfucky) also Interloper and Questionable Ethics :freeman:
That scene practically invented scripted boss-battles. Maybe it’s just me, but recreating it feels like a pretty monumental part of the mod. Plus, watching that bastard die is probably the most thrilling part of the game IMHO (it would be killing the Nihilanth, but you get teleported away before you can really relish the feeling). I’m looking forward to witnessing it on a more modern engine
Anomalous Materials, Unforseen Concequences, Office Complex and Blast Pit are ones that strike me most. Though I’m sure everything will be absolutely spiffing.
I didn’t like Blast Pit in the original Half-Life, but it looks way more interresting in BM.
I am excited for the entire mod.
Ah - that explains it then - I avoided borat as I’m not a fan in the slightest of insult-humour.
I hate liberal influenced humor, but I watched it anyway.
I’m especially looking towards the three bonus Chapters - “Alyx Rescue” (being instructed by G-man to pluck little Alyx from Black Mesa Dormitories), “Breen Hack” (locking off Breen in his office so that he has to give Eli access to Level 9), and “Barrage Omaha” (defending a small safehouse from Army bombardment while scientists flee Black Mesa through it).
That is gonna be … wait for it… EP!!!elevenC
Holy shit somebody has been filling your head up with nonsense, none of that will be in Black Mesa.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
