What is the hymen really for?

Oh man imagine someone raping you with a baby.

Now that would hurt.

There’s a reason labour involves many painful hours of warmup.

Makes you better qualified than if your only exposure to the matter was through watching porn.

Seriously? “the body can still be aroused by the very situation of possible penetration”??? A licensed gynecologist wouldn’t even make an idiotic claim like that.

In Tiki we trust.

Unwanted arousal isn’t rare or weird. Unless you never had morning wood, or random erections during the day without any reason at all. Additionaly, in some cases, fear can actually cause arousal.

Also, “Over 66% of sexual assault victims reported no visible physical injuries.” (here)

And while I don’t generally like to use Wikipedia: “Effects and aftermath of rape can include both physical trauma and psychological trauma. However, physical force is not necessarily used in rape, and physical injuries are not always a consequence … For rape victims the more common consequences of sexual violence are those related to reproductive health, mental health, and social wellbeing.”

Accept defeat, we won’t think any less of you.

(like we even could, amirite?

i’m seriously finding it extremely hard to believe that you’re trying to make it seem like rape isn’t so bad. i sincerely hope no one you know ever gets raped. also no VISIBLE physical injuries doesn’t account for internal vaginal trauma.

Where did I say that rape isn’t so bad? I’m merely pointing out Danson’s flawed reasoning that rape -always- causes physical pain. Which is not true in the least bit.

rape DOES always cause physical pain, for the reasons i elaborated on earlier, and the beatings that usually comes with it. no visible injury =/= no pain.

25% of men surveyed believed that rape was acceptable if: the woman asks the man out; or the man pays for the date; or the woman goes back to the man’s room after the date.

(same source)

I’m no longer sure I trust their definition of rape, if they got 1/4 guys to say it’s acceptable :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh I see. Your definition of rape = big guy dragging a girl into an alley, crushing her skull against the concrete and maniacally thrust his 50 inch penis as if he was trying to shag an elephant.

Sadly, there’s more cases of rape, even within marriage.

I don’t know on which to agree on.

In any case of rape there’s going to be the problems with arousal and potential vaginal trauma because the girl doesn’t want it

What would be kind of ironic is Bolteh being raped right after he said it wouldn’t hurt.

(in his vagina that he has)

Well if you’re going to keep clinging on to the false idea that the human body just can’t get aroused because the person itself doesn’t “want” to, then this isn’t going anywhere.

Sexual intercourse (and yes, this includes rape, whether you like it or not) isn’t an act of love. It’s an act of reproduction. Or do you think that our ancestors tens of thousands of years ago went through all the effort to “get the vagina to lubricate” just to shove it in an get it over with? If the body decides to lubricate the vagina so a possible penis could enter, then so be it. The will of the person won’t affect that.

if you’re going to keep clinging to the idea that a person is going to get aroused while one of the worst things that can happen to a person is happening to them, you’re a horrible excuse for a human. believe it or not, sexual arousal isn’t a purely physical or psychological thing. they both factor into it, and rape happens to be traumatizing to you physically AND psychologically. so it’s not going to happen, and it’s offensive and ignorant that you think it would.

but no it’s ok because it’s just like normal sex and having anything shoved up your vagina against your will would totally make any girl get aroused because that’s how it works!!!

You have to remember that Bolteh is one of those people who doesn’t believe in positive human relationships.

It hasn’t been going anywhere since you said
Who says rape always comes with physical pain?
Nobody fucking said it.
Evolution doesn’t need a perfect record for the general case to hold true, especially with a trait so fickle that it’s absent in some.

bolteh you are so fucking incredibly ignorant to how the female body works that i’d be surprised if you’ve ever even seen a girl in real life. i honestly cannot believe you would even imply that rape would arouse the victim, at all. you’re making it painfully obvious that you’ve never had sex, and you never, ever will seeing as you have no idea how a vagina even works. your ideas on arousal are bullshit. women don’t get aroused by every cylindrical object shoved inside them all willy nilly.

First off: Danson said it.

Second: I’m not sure why, but for some reason you people tend to like absolutes. It’s either this or that, no in betweens. It’s either “always hurts” or “never hurts”, but never the in between “it’s quite possible that it won’t hurt” (you know, the thing I’m saying).

So back to the applauding of intelligence and reading capabilities.
