Just finished re-reading Philip Pullman’s trilogy (The Northern Lights/The Subtle Knife/The Amber Spyglass) for like the 20th time. Those books are way too good, they just don’t get old.
Sad thing is the first movie based on the novel was mediocre, and I don’t see how the next two could be any improvement . I hate how Hollywood ruins certain books by making crappy movies based on them.
Some directors do get them right though (Meirelles/Peter Jackson).
