Today I played dead space. When I first got it, I was VERY scared, but now that ive had it for 2 weeks… im still very scared of it. An excellent game though. Usually I dont like third person shooters.
Elite force 2 quality != Elite force 1 quality
Today I put a couple hours into Final Fantasy 8, spent some time with Patapon, and got closer to the platinum trophy in God of War 2.
The Challenge of the Gods in the first GoW is a joke compared to the Challenge of the Titans. I’m stuck on the third challenge, and know how I’m supposed to do it, but can’t get the execution down.
I really liked it, but there should have been 180 turn function and some actual characters.
F-Zero GX and Star Fox 64. Old games are fun to be honest.
NFS underground 2. I had forgotten how good the radiant colors and overall sharpness looks compared to the brown, blurry and out-of-focus ‘realism’ that the modern games strive for.
Beat Shadow of Chernobyl with the “I want to be rich” ending.
“Pata Pata Patapon!” is stuck in my head.
Not good enough.
Not matter what I do, I always get that ending
.

That wish granter sure is a bitch.
Edit: @above: The only other ending you can get from the bad endings if you have over 50,000 RU is wishing the Zone away.
C’mon people, just go fight the monolith.
I’ve had their chants stuck in my head all day today
I played some more Final Fantasy VIII today, trying to knock out the sidequests before I get to disc 4. The only things I have left to do are upgrade weapons, and get Bahamut and Eden from that offshore thingy. The giant Cactuar was easier than I remember it being, only had 2 deaths and didn’t use immunity items/limits like a pansy.
I also checked to see if I could run the original Deus Ex on my laptop, which I can at max settings with no noticeable framerate problems. I’m gonna play that next probably. Bought it when it first came out on Steam and was on sale, but never played it.
Did you find the key and open the last door?
edit: I suppose I should warn; slight spoiler:
its been a while since playing, but i recall making a decision and an ending cutscene with you lying in a sunlit field after destroying the consciousness.
Resistance: Fall of Man, Sonic Unleashed, Team Fortress 2 and finished my F-Zero GX prerecording. Sounds fair.
Playing Final Fantasy 8, getting to Bahamut, Odin decides to come in and instant kill the Ruby Dragon that always gets a back attack on you. I laughed.
I was playing BC2 on PC a while ago and this guy called Bahamut kept killing me plenty of times. That wasn’t you, was it?
Bahamut is a consistent summonable dragon through all of the FF games.
So the chances really are very low.
Something consistent through FF games besides cross dressers? Who knew.
Nope. I played the BC2 beta and found it pretty fun, but don’t have the full game on any system. I also wouldn’t have left my name as “Bahamut,” it would have had the whole thing there.
He was actually not a summon in the first few games. He upgraded your characters’ classes in the first game. And I did my research, and know that he isn’t necessarily supposed to be a dragon. But Square likes to take things and change them from their source, so meh. Dragons can be cool though, if not overdone.
