As far as I know Apogee still exists, they just stopped producing games when 3D Realms was founded. This Duke Nukem Trilogy games for PSP and NDS are made under the Apogee label

My mistake, Apogee is the Parent Company, 3D Realms was just the division created to release “Fun 3D Games” (and go Bankrupt trying to make one)

Have a look at non-mainstream games such as Amnesia then, if you enjoy horror games and horror games that are done well, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t have it already.

Played some Alien Swarm with actual people for the first time. Good times man.

Gameplay isn’t hard to pick up… it’s just annoying that people have flamethrowers and shit on level 25 and I’m stuck with submachine guns on level 1 :frowning: .

I was on level 12 by the end of the campaign though :smiley: .

Played some “They Hunger”…Yesterday
Got to part three. I fucking hate the Barneys in that game, Having played Half-life a lot, I’m used to seeing Barneys and thinking; “Oh hey, a Barney, He’ll Help me out of this situation (and provide free ammunition when I reach a point where they can’t follow :3)” but in They Hunger, Most of the Barneys you come across Shoot at you and they usually show up in groups of two or three.
