What Game Did You Play Today?

But the only good game he’s talked about recently is Arkham…

Or an adapter;

Well, I thought it was. Turns out I have to replay a huge chunk of Highway 17 now because the damn thing just wiped every save file from after the New Little Odessa gunship battle.

Oh sure, sure, use an adapter… IF YOU’RE A FAG.

My dad threw away my N64 controllers.

The problem here is that N64 controllers wear out extremely fast, unless you can find a really awesome third party controller. I’m amazed my N64 controllers have lasted as long as they have.

I played a little bit of L4D2 and TF2. I had weird performance ‘issues’… not the usual kind where you get slowdown either, I was getting too many FPS for the settings.

Arkham is enough to make you go from Good to Awesome.

Hm, touché.

Also, I’ve been playing Borderlands for the… Third time?

I played Mirrors Edge on the PC, but it fucked up, so i’m gonna play it on the 360 instead …

It’s an AWESOME game :3

Hell’s yes it is.

Although, why they decided to have combat in it, or make the FMV’s in Flash, I will never know.

I need to play that more often… however, there’s only so much RPG I can take in one sitting.

yes, those two points made me sad… :frowning:

Red Dead Redemption and some Warcraft 3 again!

Been playing some Mario Galaxy 2, and some F.E.A.R.

Now, I love Borderlands, but it’s still very frustrating when you stop and think about it. Obviously there’s the ending (RAAAAAGE), but for a game with such character there aren’t really any… Erm… Characters? Just quest points that say a couple of lines. Also, it strikes me as kind of dumb that you can’t boost a skill with no points in.

There are more things, but those are the ones that generally leap out at me. Some limited weapon customisation would have been cool too, á la Hellgate (except not shit).

One thing about Borderlands that struck me as annoying right off the bat was that E also reloaded, as opposed to just the R key and leaving E for picking stuff up and interacting. It’s annoying trying to pick stuff up and then you end up reloading instead. But that’s a pretty minor complaint, I realize.

It’s because it’s a straight console port, and on the consoles they didn’t have a separate reload button. Use and reload used the same one.

;____;

That makes sense. Still frustrating. :wink:
