The HL games were linear. Stop saying “ZOMG LINEAR BAD”. I find that games that aren’t linear often suffer in the story-telling.

I played Left 4 Dead 1 and then started mapping for it to see if the Crash Course truck could be used as a prop_static.
R.U.S.E. A lot of it. That’s the first time I play a MMORPG (I usually don’t like that) and I have to say that it’s great.

I wouldn’t know,
- I haven’t played any of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games
- I can’t run it above “Normal” graphical settings without it looking like a slideshow
so from a gameplay standpoint it’s a pretty competent shooter. The end sequence was particularly gratifying.
I’m probably gonna play some StarCraft 2 today. Or show off my Dakolohs Bar in random TF2 servers.
Just played some Resistance 2! Pretty cool game, even though it’s a little old =)
YAH, I just installed and started CNC4. I then proceeded to bash my skull in with a Ball-peen hammer until I couldn’t feel anything.
I now need to find a way to clean crusted blood and CNC4 off of my computer without doing any more damage.
I think the only way I will be able to recover from this incident is to play some read alert for a week straight. That and some major cranial surgery.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert.
My 5870 just arrived today so I am finally all set for BM (my 8800gt is somehow defective so it had to be replaced), now im trying to figure out what to play until then.
I just bought God of War 3, awesome game, and am finishing up Stalker: COP. Im afraid to buy Metro 2033 in case its a waste of money. AVP was a bit of a letdown because, of course, the story sucked, so I really haven’t played that too much. I stopped playing Borderlands a while ago too.
I think I will install Minerva and Research & Development, give them a shot. All I know is, I’m just really anxious for BM. I have a feeling it will consume my life for a while…once again, I will be lost in the immersive black hole that is Half-Life lol.
…I just wish I had a 27" monitor
