What Game Did You Play Today?

I reinstalled Oblivion from scratch, converted all my mods into .omod’s, installed them all in one go.

Then my game wouldn’t start.

Deactivated .omod’s, reactivated in a more sensible order and now Oblivion is somehow running like silk at 2048x1152 with just over seventy mods activated. Oh god, this is good day.

Any game where you need a shit ton of mods for it to be fun isn’t a good game, imo.

I never liked Oblivion very much.

You don’t need the mods to make it a good game, it just adds to the game when you’re bored of the default stuff.

Say that to the thousands of people who can’t stand the game unless it has at least 30 mods on it.

Which Stalker game would be the best one to play? I’ve played the first but got bored quick though I’ve never tried it with mods. Haven’t played any of the others.

Just beat Dead Space. Great game, even better ending. Second one is set up to be pure epic.

I’ll tell that to them as well as the millions of people who love it without them.

i dont game much on my pc, but i played Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Modern Warfare 2

Halo 3: ODST Firefight

So much fun :3

Half-Life 2 Episode 2
The Neverhood
Torment

I was feeling impatient for episode 3, then I was feeling nostalgic.

Niels and Some1’s awesome Toyota Supra mod at Nordschlief and F1SR’s 93 F1 mod at Monza

Plus a little bit of crash and burn in RBR :’(

Just got Windows 95 running through VirtualBox on my Mac, then played Starship Titanic. So. Much. Fun.

Company of Heroes: Eastern Front
A fine mod for a fine game.

And a dash of Grim Fandango

Dragon Age: Origins. Just got it, late Christmas present.

Awesome game…now if only I can resist the urge to try all the origins before actually playing the game…lol

I really need to play that more.
I don’t really have many mods for rFactor unfortunately, but I am happy with going around Nordschlief in a Caterham for now…
Or going around Rouen with an M3 :jizz:

Undoubtedly, but when you do put the mods on it becomes a very good game, so why’s it matter?

Eternal Earth
Deer Hunter 2005
Counter Strike

Almost finished The Longest Journey after playing it for 26 hours. I also just realized that the Bokamba/Mercer guards got the Omni-Tek logo on their chest and that the Shuttle Port “The Morning Star” is in both Anarchy Online and TLJ.

Edit: Actually I just finished it. I love those outtakes at the end.

Been playing Darksiders. A lot.

I’m really loving it, which surprised me. I thought I’d enjoy it, but, y’know, just enjoy. It seems like a very well made game so far. It’s a pretty game, it’s got an interesting story, animated well, the combat is varied and fluid, as is control in general. Only thing that could have been improved is the sound track, but so far that’s pretty much it.
