I beat GTA San Andreas the other night. I think I spent a good 40 to 50 hours in the game, to the chagrin of a friend of mine who couldn’t stand to watch it. She apparently has a huge amount of hate for the series. Apparently it’s “boring to watch.” Whatever, I enjoyed it.
Then I took on a port of Rolling Thunder on the GCN, and beat it in three days. It was with the Invulnerability option on, mind you, because going through it legitimately was kicking my butt after the halfway mark. If you can beat the game without cheats, kudos to you. It was hard even with them on, because there is an area with platforming elements that has an insta-death lava pit. The jumping is a bit questionable too, so you are forced to be extremely careful on tiny ledges.
So after that, I’ve been playing through Resident Evil 5 on the 360. It’s quite fun, actually.
So much Borderalnds, the co-op is amazing fun.
Why was she watching you play it?
One of my mates is the same, she loves gaming, but can’t stand GTA games.
I don’t see why, The past few have been extremely well made and entertaining.

Some friends of mine have convinced to become more active on their small private server and I haven’t been able to stop…

Dead Space 2 Multiplayer. I don’t know what the critics are talking about, it’s fun!
Borderlands, so good in co-op with my housemate.
She said that when she plays games like Portal, L4D or HL2 she’s battling against evil bad guys or zombies or puzzles, whereas in GTA you’re killing a lot of innocent people and committing crimes.
Seems fair enough to me, but it does suck cause the games are fucking amazing.
She must hate Prototype with a burning passion.
tbh Prototype gives a lot of reasons to hate it. Though I enjoyed it immensely, myself it has a lot of issues.
Prototype did have a lot of issues but it’s still one of those games that’s just undeniably fun.
I guess she had nothing better to do. I suppose it was because I had command of the TV.
