What Did You Get For Christmas?

I got a rock.

(show off what you got)

nothing yet, we have yet to celebrate (don’t judge, we barely ever celebrate on the day itself)

HO HO HO MERRY EVERYONE!

I got a 40 inch LCD TV and a new jacket.

Not really a custom to give presents during christmas here.

I am jealous

:frowning:

That’s just because Santa hates commies.

No we have a different occasion where we give eachother presents.
On christmas we do stuff like family dinners and fireworks at home during new year’s eve.

Nobody wants to hear about your framed pictures of Lenin wrapped in red wraping paper.

Sgt. Pepper got Bad Company 2 Vietnam

new ipod touch, really pretty necklace, money, games, new hoodies, a butt ton of makeup and nail polish, and some other stuff plus a lot of candy

Considering the fact that Christianity is near dead over here, with just a handful of people that still celebrate the original meaning of Christmas, we generally just get together with the family on Christmas eve, and give our thanks for the fact that we could go home earlier from work. The actual gift-giving over here happened on the 6th of December during the feast of Sinterklaas (the original Santa, mind you), and only for the actual kids, not everyone and their grandmother.

But despite all of that, I still got a new wallet from my parents, because the old one was slowly decaying.

i got a memory stick, guitar tuner, a couple of books, and money and stuff

Read:

I got breakfast with the family, and the house to myself for the rest of the weekend.

bolteh, we give presents on christmas too :awesome:

also, i used to ‘collect’ rocks from camping trips in france and shit when i was a kid :awesome:

A pair of slippers.

Yea, we do too, hence the wallet. It’s just that you can’t compare it to the Brits or the Americans in terms of amount and budget. We also just give the presents on Christmas eve to eachother, not on Christmas day itself.

The important stuff I got was candy and a modular origami book. Also I got a potential RAM upgrade.
