What Are Your Specs?

I might get a Radeon HD, and maybe a Quad core too. Intel’s processors do wonders. Do you think I should just save up my money and get one of these?: https://www.amazon.com/Gateway-FX6860-UR20P-Gaming-Desktop-Black/dp/tech-data/B0050JSJU4/ref=de_a_smtd

From what I’ve seen, this is a great gaming PC. Just read the tech details.

Personally I’d build my own. If you don’t feel comfortable doing that, check out https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/ You pick the parts, they put it together. Bought my first PC from them, they are good.

As for my specs:

Wow, nice site, although I might still order the PC in the link I provided. I’m not a caveman when it comes to tech stuff, I have a fairly decent amount of knowledge on it, but I’m not too sure if I trust myself to get a good custom build. Thanks for the website anyways, though, if I have doubts on this, I’ll be sure to try it out.

I would go with a custom build, even if you don’t know much about computers, it’s pretty much like legos(Just make sure you don’t try and connect them with mega blocks lol xD.)

You should have more trust in yourself, trust me a custom build will be easier on your wallet and give you more bang for your buck. I don’t trust buying anything PC related from Amazon, but that’s just a grudge I have against them.

Yep, custom builds are a piece of piss. Hardest thing is making sure all the parts are right for each other (and that aint really difficult). But then you ask the likes of us to check out what you are looking at ordering to make sure. After that its super easy, just dont force anything in the wrong way and bam done. Money saved and pride in your work!

I bought almost all of the parts for my PC from Amazon. They had the best prices around.

Better than NewEgg?

I do all my PC shopping there I don’t bother checking other sites.

Yes, better than Newegg. Not by much, though; like $5-$10, plus I always got free shipping from Amazon.

Geek, do you go for super saver, or do you subscribe to Amazon Prime?

Super Saver all the way. I am nothing if not patient.

Super saver is good.

I approve.

I just bought some new parts that should get here this week, (free 3 day shipping, fuck yeah!) I’ll update my specs then. Also, looking through some of the cases on Newegg, I think my current case is a Rosewill :fffuuu: (I’ve had nothing but bad experiences buying this brand, I am surprised that this case has not exploded or something similar)
