What are you most excited to see?

How about a showcase of all the weapons in the game? Like a before(original HL) and after(BM). And I don’t mean screenshots or 3D renderings, I mean ingame footage.

Come now don’t be mean :<

Tram ride. It may sound dumb but that was my favourite part of the whole game!
Ah the memories… Sigh…

screw this post

As in your own one? Yeah, I suggest you do that.

No, no I think that was fair. It might work as an easter egg, like a janitor’s armory or something like that. Hmm, the more I think about it, the less nausea I feel. Then again that could be the medication I’m taking.

playing it and being satisfied.

^ Exciting.

Hearing all the new dialog. Seriously, everything I’ve heard so far had been awesome.

Playing with tarp crates

If the gun sounds in Black Mesa will be as good as in Half-Life 2 I will be in for a treat.

I know, they’re really something, aren’t they?

What iam excited too see in Black Mesa?

Dr. Magnussons face when he sees me blowing the crap out of his casserol

Sorry mate but IIRC Magnusson won’t be making an appearance in BM.

Aww, how sad… Well its alright, valve never said that Dr. Magnusson was the guy banging on the vendo machine.

Every time I play Half-Life, the scientist banging on the soda machine is a black guy. So, unless something happened in the intervening years…

Funny, it’s the old guy with the glasses for me every time. The black guy is just reading his book. I think I might have seen the young one (I believe his model name was “slick”) but it must have been once.

The models were chosen randomly, IIRC.

I am actually most exited to see the iconic Half-Life 2 characters, Eli Vance, Issac Kliener, and Barney Calhoun, even though they don’t play a major part.

Yeah, I think I’m most excited to see how all the voice acting and choreography looks, sounds and plays out.
Also most importantly, I’m ready to be beat in the face with nostalgia.

Magnusson will be mentioned by the people in the room with the casserole if you blow it up though.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
