I know I missed the boat on the wallpaper contest (a long time ago). But here is a wallpaper I threw together inspired by this awesome project. I use to be a member back in 2007, but I forgot my password (and user-name) since, and I think you guys switched servers.
Anyways, let me know what you think. Hope you like it! 
Very nice. The only real problem is, it’s way too dark, and you can only make out a little bit of the marines.

I like it alot, and I think it looks good without a background. Makes it look like the soldiers are in the dark just watching. But like everybody else said it’s kinda dark. Just Lighten up the marines a little and IMO it’s great.
(Actually, I’m actually using this (Edited) as my desktop Background, I just removed the Black mesa URL and bar, and covered up the “S” on the BM logo.
I can only see part of them. But it’s still looks bad ass!
i can see it fine, everyone else must have darker settings maybe?
I luv how they can observe you from the shadows with their glowing eyes…
