welcome to my gibs

the normal maps are inversed (fucking Blender!) but here it is

and a donut

Looks interesting

i like your use of colors, the more colors the better ;]

Lies! That donut is a bagel!

Well i can already see the fat gaurd man off blue shift eating that donut!!

I remember these, they look tasty. Not talking about the donut though.

I love gibs. More FPs today need to be gibby, expecially with todays physics technologhy!
Also, didn’t someone post a dick gib?

I feel like todays physics technology should eliminate the need for “premade” gib models. Gibs should be programatically created as they are cut/blasted off character models with maximum realism.

That’s what I’m saying.

imagine the tree cut-off technologie from crysis to be used for gibbing

Once again, where’s the dick gib? It was hilarious!

where it was always, in com thread ;]

Why didn’t you post these in the “Create human and alien gibs” thread? Some additional entries are furiously needed! I specially liked these two. I just can’t figure a way around Blender… I’ve just been able to model cubes and circles, so far. I envy your skills.

I can sort of edge model in Blender, but I haven’t done anything with it in a while. Maybe I’ll mess around a little this weekend. Assuming that I’m not playing TF2.

As for the programmatically creating gibs, I think it’d be awesome as a unlockable game mode to make over-the-top gibs whenever anyone got hurt.

amazing and you did all this in blender?

I posted these in the official gib thread before the forum crash. I don’t have the source files any more, just the renders.

Modeled in Blender, rendered in 3ds max. Which is why the normal maps are fucked (Blender deals with normal maps in a nonstandard way).

Oh wait the donut was all 3ds max.

i see
hmm well there very good in my opinion the textures feel half lifey(if that be a state of mind or anything around that)

That’s a shame. Still, if you make more, you should post them in the community project thread. I bet they would be awesome! hint hint

I’d love to see scientists gibbin into these >D.

hmmmm donuts.
anyways, those gibs are great! i think that they would fit in well.
