I was looking on the older versions of the site and this mod was like all most finished in 2006 lol and the flash version of the site was kick ass!

Does anyone know where I can get the music from the 2 official videos?

Audacity, record “what I hear”

I want the mp3  and the videos have gun shots and stuff in them I want the songs lol

Hahaha, I forgot, sorry D:
Can’t help you

I remember the flash version of the site. Those were the days.

Yeah, so? You want them to copy paste every post since 2006?

From Joel Nielsen’s site

Yeah sure! Why not?

Thanks!!!

I have no idea why there aren’t any 2007 and 2008 records you mite be able to find them on another time machine site

There is already a thread about that…
but still thanks !

i started paying attention to black mesa in about Q1 of 2007 but i never got the chance to c the flash version of the site. i dnt see why they went back to an html version, was their bandwidth trouble or something? coz thats the only reason i can think of they would switch to html then again updating a flash site is quite time consuming and html is pretty easy to learn so anyone of the devs could update the site i suppose. to everyone who went on the archieve thing or saw the original flash site wich in you oppinion is better flash or html?

I though the flash was awesome but i can see it getting annoying very easily

Mine was posted first > :frowning:

The flash version was really great but it was boring to see the loading bar 100 times a day

I’ve got a mirror of the old flash version up on my site (web archive is soooo slow):

Man that takes me back. The old site was one of the projects I was actually proud of, so I keeps it around

Fantastic! That brings the memories flooding back! Cheers, Section 8.

Awesome, so weird to read the news and have Kal mention the mod being a year old.

yep, it’s a nice trip down memory lane.

Damn good times back then: Me and RabidMonkey having joke flame wars in our plan threads, bkdale trying to sue me for defamation (twice  ), ytmnd’s of the devs… shit that was back in '04 when I was a freshman in college… Jesus, time flies.

Wow. Didn’t realize how old the “Inbound” media was. D:

Bscly

:^P

Anyway it’s nice to see all this stuff again.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
