We are in a Black Hole

Our universe was created by a star in another universe collapsing and forming a black hole. That’s what caused the “big bang.” Black holes in our universe create/contain other universes. Sadly, travel between universes is impossible because it takes an infinite amount of time to approach the event horizon of a black hole. But still, it puts things in a different perspective, doesn’t it?

paint the black hole blacker

kind of a major setback to scientific absolutism

it’s a theory

you are treating it as a hard cold fact

General Relativity is a “theory” too.

this is very recent

i don’t see much supporting it

It’s a mathematical model, based on Einstein’s work, that’s been peer-reviewed and published. It’s “supported” by mathematics. Yeah, there hasn’t been observational confirmation yet, but like you said it’s very recent - how long did it take for General Relativity to be confirmed?

You argue against the corgi.

You lose. :fffuuu:

don’t you mean Corge?

The corge you knew was not actually a corge it was a black hole, science proves it or rather math?

Are you both trying to confuse me? :hmph:

This theory is quite old tbh, there’s not enough evidence for me to support it but it’s still interesting. Feels bad man, knowing you will die without knowing all the answers.

“The new model isn’t the first to propose that other universes exist inside black holes.”

:hmph:

Lets just drop this…

you should drop it because you’re fucking wrong, did you not read past the first sentence?

WHAT IS NEW HERE is the mathematical proof
, not the theory. There’s tons of crazy theories in cutting-edge science, but once you have a proven equation like “E=mc^2” that’s been peer reviewed and published then you have to start taking it seriously if you aren’t a luddite in love with your own ignorance.

I’d start an e-penis fight with you but it’s kinda late and I’m going to sleep.

what

totally unsurprised (but still dissapoint) by the total lack of interesting comments on one of the most significant theoretical breakthroughs of the past century

what

Most of the big-time scientific theories I’ve read about are just really wacky ideas put into technobabble.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
