Our universe was created by a star in another universe collapsing and forming a black hole. That’s what caused the “big bang.” Black holes in our universe create/contain other universes. Sadly, travel between universes is impossible because it takes an infinite amount of time to approach the event horizon of a black hole. But still, it puts things in a different perspective, doesn’t it?

It’s a mathematical model, based on Einstein’s work, that’s been peer-reviewed and published. It’s “supported” by mathematics. Yeah, there hasn’t been observational confirmation yet, but like you said it’s very recent - how long did it take for General Relativity to be confirmed?

WHAT IS NEW HERE is the mathematical proof, not the theory. There’s tons of crazy theories in cutting-edge science, but once you have a proven equation like “E=mc^2” that’s been peer reviewed and published then you have to start taking it seriously if you aren’t a luddite in love with your own ignorance.
