Way to many trolls

definition for “troll”: user that posts replies on forums that don’t have a minimal logical connection to the thread’s idea. They like to, as said before, see the “circus on fire” by creating post with the final objective to continue the flaming. They like to get pass by noobs, with questions like “G-Man is Gordon from the future” and others like that.
Their intention is not to improve the forum in any possible way. Instead, they go to forums only to “increase their post count” with unnecessary commentaries.
ADD: trolls think that they are the ultimate source of knowlege of anything. So, they don’t like opposite opinions, calling these people morons.
Killing trolls can be easy: you can place them in contradiction with their own arguments.
how you will do it, I don’t really know.

Lies.
Trolls are users who post inflamatory comments to start arguments or fights purely for entertainment sake with no intentions of taking away any useful knowledge.
Just my 2 cents and what I was told the definition of troll was

A troll is an annoying user on a game or forum, that spams or says stupid stuff, just like it’s cousin the asshat.

I don’t see the problem with that, only idiots would get into that kind of argument there since it would be known that the thread/forum would be “banned-land”.

Also, yes most people don’t know what trolling is.

“Hi, I disagree with Z and I think that X could be done better by implementing Y”

“I think that’s a stupid opinion, (insert personal attacks against the person’s character and question sexual preferences here)”

“BLACK MESA ISNT REAL DOODES”

Guess which one is the troll. (answer key: 1: Intelligent person 2: Internet tough guy 3: Obvious troll)

Edit: I did stuff but then I read stuff.

Seem like most people badly confuse troll with off-topic poster.

NO! IS NOT THE SAME!:fffuuu:

In waltzes the gal that brings here wiki article:

Ya’ll SHOULD have a read of that page tho, cuz the “history” is actually quite interesting. Only cuz I have done it myself enough times and I never realized that I could have been considered trolling.

The two work cited link to that quote just gave a short definition and the second one with full page of explanation still didn’t seem too trustworthy to me.

I still don’t like people associate off topic as troll. Sure the off topic come with troll but being off topic alone should not be consider troll. :fffuuu:

Trolls on the BMS are irregular and I find them somewhat funny.

You guys are also easy as hell to provoke and when you try to defend your opinions, you don’t make any sense.

Am I the only one who finds the typo in the topic to be utterly hilarious?

Instead of saying “Way too many trolls” which means “the number of trolls are of a greater number than is desired or acceptable”

it says “Way to many trolls” which means “The direction that leads to a large quantity of trolls”

It almost comes across as ironic.

Quite.

New quote for me. I laughed so hard

Haha, I didn’t even notice that. That’s eerily awesome

Mine was suppose to be sarcastic. The posts after mine is what made me /facepalm.

I’m starting to think I’m the only one that really just didn’t notice it.

I didn’t either… but I’ve been exhausted lately

I noticed it, but you’re all gay and Black Mesa sucks and is never coming out.

I refer the honorable gentleman to the following:

Yes, these two totally unrelated instances, in completely different contexts are exactly the same.

It’s almost like quantum trolling isn’t it?

and, even more back on topic, I trust the OP wasn’t talking about the likes of Kaze, who might indulge in trolling, but does it in truly epic style (and is therefore tolerated)…

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
