Watching Gory\Violent content and it's effects??

Don’t be like the weirdos that go on Bestgore and look up children with mutilated genitals just because it’s legal to wank at

I’m kind of like that too. Once, I saw a documentary of someone who used to cut themselves, and I swear, whenever I even just hear about someone cutting themselves or slitting their wrists and stuff, I get kinda paralyzed too!

What’s worse though, is in Vampire movies/shows, when they show the vampire biting the neck and blood gushing out and shit. That and I guess any cutting of the neck also freaks me out…

I’m not queasy when it comes to blood and I’ve not dealt with really any gore asides from roadkill, which I feel bad when I see. I’ve seen plenty of gore online, not in games but on r/gore, i went there once cause a friend of mine had brought it up and what I saw on it haunted me for days afterwards because as Sassy said, they were someone’s wife, someone’s brother. A father, a mother. Even a friend. A friend of mine died in an accident involving a rifle and each time I see an image of a mutilated body or a corpse online, I can’t help but think of the pain I felt when I learned of my friends death. I think of how the people in their lives must feel. Watching that documentary, and seeing the WW2 vet getting hit made me cringe because the one thing I can’t stand is prolonged pain and it sickens me that those people watched. I get the concept of Self-Preservation but in my mind there is a responsibility to help another person because I’d desperately want someone to help me if it were I in that situation.

I had a psychotic episode a few nights ago.
After playing too much WoW I had a complete mental breakdown and ran through the streets with an axe shouting “FOR THE ALLIANCE!”. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any Gnolls or Wild Boars to kill, so I chased a Squirrel for an hour before the police picked me up.

that was you???

I could give a link to a site that has the worst things I’ve personally ever seen. However I may well be banned.

As someone already said, as long as you feel empathy any morbid curiosity shouldn’t be considered taboo? I’ve had an interest in these kinda things for many years. The human body is much more fragile than the movies want you to believe.

I know the site you mentioned, and thank god I decided to not watch this shit again cause it had negative affects on me

I wouldn’t let it get to you. Terrible shit happens to people every single day. Use this as a way to count your own blessings.

the site didn’t start with CHA-------- did it?

I know others, but this is by far the worst I’ve personally seen.

Gore doesn’t really bother me anymore.
If I see any kind of animal or child abuse though… I rage so hard

Human Life > Animal Life.

Argue about it

I would argue that any kind of life isn’t intrinsically valuable.

Shit on the internet never really affected me
I got to see and treat some shit but it wasn’t that serious as well, mostly cuts, wounds etc. Worst thing I saw was some guy who had some nasty fucking laceration in his palm because he had some accident involving a pike.
Car accidents are the worst though. Although never encountered it, but I might soon enough. Some friends who did told me it’s seriously fucked up.

I saw a car on the highway crashed into a concrete wall and engulfed by flames. The driver’s seat had a crisped skelly in it! Firemen were stunned by the image.

i’ve never seen anything more shocking (irl) than someone driving a nail through his thumb

i was once watching a video of someones head being cut off, but i turned it off before seeing anything
i mean, i dont want to see that shit :expressionless:
