Want to play some HL1 with your favourite BMS Dev? Okay, how about me instead?

I only found this thread today otherwise I would have been there.

I remember being quite good at CS 1.6 back in the day but totally sucked at HL1.

How would you guys like to do another game on Sunday? This time with a 32 player limit, no accidental server shutdowns, and 100% more advance warning? And maybe more devs, but no promises…

Actually, I can’t promise no accidental server shutdowns either. I’m not the brightest spark.

8PM GMT, Sunday. Mark your calendars, fellas. And scientists. I look forward to being murdered repeatedly by the community!

I’ve never even played HLDM but maybe I’ll join in. Heh. :stuck_out_tongue:

Now this question may sound dumb, but can join with you guys to play?

Edit: If it’s okey with you. If not, than that’s fair enough.

I don’t see why not, other than wild timezone differences and latency.

If there’s space and my internet doesn’t spaz out, I’d be happy to get my ass handed to me.

Yeah, I’m aware that is gonna be the case. I was just converting the time just now, and it came up with this:
8PM GMT Sunday/7AM AEST Monday.
Yeah, it’s very early for me in the morning. But I’ll be there at that time. And I will unleash hell![COLOR=’#11111’]lol

Also note: I may suck at HLDM, cause I haven’t play it for ages, so please bear in mind.

I’ll be there if I am not going out at the time.

I can be there, now that I know about it (I just saw this thread, like, right now; I’m a terrible moderator).

yes plz

Looking forward to playing with you guys. I would ask one thing though - please use your forum name as your in-game name, so I know which member of the community is delivering humiliation unto my anus.

There may be other reasons too, but I won’t delve too deep into them just yet…

The server on Sunday will be hosted at the US East Coast instead of UK, so hopefully this provides an acceptable middle ground between the European and American community. We will be playing a stock map rotation, as before.

If you’re around on Sunday, come and join us! You’ll have fun, I promise. The last game was a total blast!

It’s been ages since I’ve been on this forum, and I’ve never played HLDM, but if nothing comes up, I’ll give it a go!

Btw Text, I never did congratulate you on your Developer status, so [COLOR=‘Yellow’]Congratulations!

My in-game name will be Mr. Someguy (confusing, I know!), and time permitting, I hope to be there.

Got no big plans so Sunday’s good

I’ll join, but I will have 200+ ping probably.

If I can, I will.

Me and a couple of mates used to while away the hours LAN-gaming HLDM at my house. Ah, the memories! I may be busy with either my brother or my girlfriend on sunday evening, but otherwise I’ll be there with bells on. And if not this time, then next time.

Wait. Why don’t I have HLDM on my list of games in Steam? I have HL2DM, but not HLDM.

Because its integrated into the actual single player game. Boot up Half Life and look for Find Servers on the main menu.

Isn’t that how multiplayer usually works?

Today seems to be a good day for my internet.

Oh, good. Thought I’d have to buy it. :3

When’s the DM?

man this is going to be a fun sunday
