Vorts and Assasins as MP models?

Would it be possible to add Vortigaunts and Assasins as multiplayer characters (with assasins being visible of course)? I’d really like that.

Vortigaunts are on an entirely different animation skeleton than humans, so they’d be impossible without the team making animations for them, or otherwise looking horribly disfigured. Even then, they’d have different hitboxes and potentially be easier/harder to hit with hitscan (bullet-firing) weapons, making some sort of meta for what playermodels are best to use.

Possibly the same case with the assassin model, though I wouldn’t know personally.

I think we will get a female assasin model in future, cos it was in half-life 1 multiplayer and devs confirmed long time ago ,that they are working on female assasin gibs, which is necessary for multiplayer .

This will most likely be a pain for the devs to add, but I’d love to see vort player models.

Just imagine the hand models in 1st person o_o, that’s gonna be awesome.

Same with the assassins, in their case my guess is that the team didn’t have the time to add them yet. Pretty sure we’re going to see them at some point in the future, but who knows.

Maybe an alternative set of models for Team Deathmatch then? Free Vorts vs Slave Vorts or something like that.

That would be a little out of place due to the setting of the games. There are no free vorts in it, or the original HL.

Or this is how I see it anyway.

We saw them in Unforeseen Consequences praying for Freeman.

I don’t like this idea… Vortigaunts would have different animations and hitboxes compared to normal human models. This would be inconssistent and maybe unbalanced. Same for the assassins. The assassin model is way thinner than all the other models (hard to hit and see). Also these weren’t models of the original HLDM. Please add Robogrunt, Gina and maybe male assassin (OP4 black ops) instead.
