Dunno who it would be, but I always imagined that Gordon would actually be the type of person that puts a lot of thought into everything he says, so most of the time he ends up interrupted before he can say what he was going to say, forcing him to fall back to simple nods and shakes of his head, some shrugging and other body language to communicate in a timely manner.
For some reason when I try to think of Gordon Freeman’s actual voice, I’m coming up with Ray Romano, but that might just be the influence of the Freeman’s Mind series. Aside from that, I’m actually coming up with Jeff Goldbloom, but instead of sounding like he’s rambling to cover up his nervousness, have all of that is inner monolog as he tries to figure out what he wants to say, and only maybe a couple words or barely a full sentence actually get spoken out loud.
