This is almost certainly a false positive. You need to exclude the file or folder in your antivirus settings, and then verify the integrity of the game files.

It might be in the team’s best interest to make a public statement about this; a number of posts are popping up on the Steam discussion boards. For the record, I’m using McAfee, and I didn’t get anything.
