Freeman going up against the icon Super Mario is a fuckin honor on its own.
Gordon’s got like 52 inches on that fat bastard.
Even then, Mario rides a fucking raptor.
Yoshi is not a dinosaur, he is more the illegitimate offspring of a lizard and a barnacle.
I’m pretty sure in the movie he was a dinosaur.
I haven’t played much of the recent games explaining Yoshi because I don’t have a Nintendo and I’ve seen to much 34 to want to.
I was making that up. I don’t think he is really the illegitimate son of a barnacle and a lizard, but he just doesn’t seem to be a dinosaur. He lacks the teeth.
freeman is still in the lead, but only by ~200 votes.
He’s been that way for about a day now.
Wth? How come Samus came further then MC?
4Chan.
haha, epic. But everyone’s been cheating since the contest started.
I love Valve.
Unfortunately the notifications don’t work so well under wine, and I don’t really want to log in, enable the notifications, log out, and log back in again on my windows machine.
Ha ha, nice.
Also, the great thing is that Steam users don’t reach their peak for another 15 or so hours.
Gordon is almost 10k votes ahead… In 4 hours.
Wow. (This just shows how many people ACTUALLY care about Gordon, but just didn’t know about the competition)
:3
Woohoo! Reinforcements! Thank god for the Steam Army.
that’s friggin awesome!
holy fuck!
I feel this might violate the spirit very slightly, considering we were narrowly winning against Link the whole way. If Link had a big gaming application advertising him, he would probably still be close behind.
But who cares, we’re rolling out the big guns so we can take a jab at that obese plumber! I hope Nintendo doesn’t pull some advertising thing, they’ve already gotten enough random characters and support in that competition
hmm… are international votes allowed? I’m fearful of what Japan could do for Nintendo…
Nintendo probably doesn’t monitor America gaming websites. I’m sure they’ve had their own competition in which Mario wins after defeating Link who got there via approximately 15 thousand JRPG characters.
