Ventrilo

. .

What about this?
Supports voice. Voice never used.
Supports text. Text always spammed :3

You could try set up a vent server, but I doubt it would be popular.

The point of this isn’t specifically for BMS, however, like i said it might be cool to add a channel for it. Ventrilo and the BMS chat through Steam are com PLETELY different. I already own a ventrilo server, like i said I’m trying to get it popular. Nobody who is in anyway at all knowledgeable with voip would ever use the chat group to talk with voice. the quality and lack of functions make it laughable.

They aren’t completely different… Both allow people to talk via voice. Steam allows people who don’t have voice to also communicate through text.

As does ventrilo. Are you familiar with the program? It shits on a simple steam community group chat as far as extensibility, features, lag, quality, and definitely stability. The point of this is for people who like to play games and talk at the same time, or even just communicate while surfing the web. It doesn’t require you to shift-tab to access it because it has push to talk, and isn’t in your face in game. I’d make a poll on this just to see how many people would choose ventrilo over a group chat. Again like i said, it’s laughable. Agreed however on what you said, “Both allow people to talk via voice.” However, would you rather wipe your ass with a brick? Or toilet paper? It’s clear as day.

Depends… What did I eat the day before?

A companion cube.

ooph. Point taken…

Is it time for what I think?
