How Vegemite is made, for those who don’t know.
The XXXX Brewery (beer), after fermentation, send the yeast up to Bundaberg to the Bundaberg Rum Distillery, where they then use the yeast to make run, once they are done with it, they send what is left to the Vegemite factory, where it is turned into Vegemite.
It is a current aussie joke, as far as I know, to convince tourists to put a lot of it on a slice of toast when giving it their first taste, just so you can see their face twist around when they chew it.
If you want to enjoy, you should be spreading it paper thin. My personal fav way to have it is the same as Brokenfridge, but that said, I don’t eat breakfast and thus havent had it in years.
