ValveTime BlackMesa Gameplay footage

I read the exact same comment on youtube earlier. Was that you?

Anyways, HL1 style movement is in the game, its an option.

That’s what I’ve been saying, but I say Sci-fi to keep it open. I hope the whole game has that feel.

It looks really stunning, I am very pleased with how it is. But oh god that voice acting lol Its just cheesy.

Is it just me or does the .50 cal sound like the Thompson from Return to Castle Wolfenstein?

I thought the revolver sounded like the SCAR from l4d2, but it’s kinda a generic sound anyway.

Well, either way they got sounds I like.

Some people don’t seem to like them though :frowning:

I thought it sounded like the Deagle from L4D2

I don’t Care how it sounded.

It Works.

So… Been following this all day. And I have one question:

WHAT IN NIHILANTH’S NAME IS GOING ON???!!![/SIZE]

I didn’t care for the song used. It sounded like it belonged in a completely different game.

I felt that way at first, but after a second time watching it, it grew on me almost instantly.

What do you want to know?

Some people protested Oreo, so fuck.

The cookies? lol

With the video? Was it leaked/stolen? Was it leaked by the devs? And most importantly… What’s up with the whole :stuck_out_tongue: ?

Nabisco made some gay rights themed ads for Oreo and some white trash got assmad.

On topic, I really fucking love those footstep sounds. Seriously.

It was obviously given to them by the devs, because if it wasn’t, the video-link would have been taken off the “Got a Question” thread. Also, the devs have been pretty direct in past when it came to unfortunate leaks.

Secondly, the smiley face thing probably has to do with a secret that they are trying to hint at inadvertently.

Even cookies can be gay, Xalener.

Yay Catz! I haven’t seen you here for so long! :frowning:

It’s too bad Freeman dropped his flashlight into a canyon.

What?

Joke, obviously poking at the fact that the player would walk into pitch black areas and neglect to turn on his flashlight

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
