Valve promises '3 big surprises' are coming

You’re a furry, your opinion is nill.

T^T I will eat your soul.

Blue is an idiot.

I like boygenius opinion. It’s true that the PC will have a great potential in a future. After all, all the games that came out in consoles AND computers are better for the computer version for Mods, updates, free online connection…

while that’s true there’s an increasing number of games that don’t have a PC version at all or have a rubbish PC version (COD MW2 for example)

The pc and console situation by that time will be exactly the same as it is today. MW2 was a sub par version but treyarch is going to change that with black ops. Don’t care if I have to pay, I just want deds. Back to topic!

By the way, I hope that when Valve brings Steam to the PS3, they let me run some of the games that I purchased on Steam on the PS3. That would be an awesome surprise. Especially if Steam updated itself, instead of getting booted back to the XMB.
(long story, bscly my router is quite homosexual)

if the L4D sacrifice campaign and the TF2 shop are 2 of the 3 “suprises”, then I am disappoint… Valve “suprises” are getting lamer by the day.

And by my logic portal 2 isnt one of the suprises, since they already let us know about it. Unless you get a free box of chocolates or a dildo or something complimentary. then I would be genuinely suprised.

I’d buy the retail version just for the dildo and chocolates.

They’re bringing the Steamworks features to PS3 not Steam itself. I doubt Sony would allow a direct competitor to the PSN store on the same system.

i read it on a valve interview, but i cant find the link!
EDIT: that they’re gonna cut gordon

Sigged.

As for the final “surprise,” Valve is going to make you buy weapons in CSS.

With real money.

Find the link. Until then, no one believes you.

My theories are

  1. Gordon Freeman is actually gay so there is no way that he and alyx can have a happy ending

  2. Gordon Freeman actually dies in the end

  3. Something to do with adrian sheapord

Only if you play it.

He can just close his eyes and do her in the butt

A partnership/deal between VALVe and Sony to have Steam be the distribution and management platform on PS3 (in the future not with Portal 2’s release) wouldn’t be extremely far fetched.

It’s funny, because the player is actually supposed to be gordon.

So Kairouseki is right, and it is no surprise.

Apparently the Mann Co. store was surprise #1

Two guesses left:

#2 An RPG is in the works, including meta-multiplayer (actively taking part in multiplayer has adverse effects in singleplayer)

#3 Source SDK is set to stun, shock and amuse us for hours

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
