Makes for a pretty interesting read. Now, I new Valve had this funky laid back thing going on but I never thought they take it so seriously.

I wouldn’t call it laid back at all, they give you a lot of freedom and no one will bust your balls there but at the same time you have be very productive and very good at the things you do while also contributing to the whole growth of the company.

Of course this all results in a bigger payoff to the employees than in most game companies.
