Hey Hezus , the .exe link works.
I’ve installed and I’ve played:
everything seems ok.
Nope, the zip mirror works for me(downloading right now)

Just finished it.Awsome work Hezus.
Time to play the comm mode…
I found a Gman.
I played through the whole thing Hezus, it’s pretty good, I enjoyed it. You’ve definitely done a good job of this.
I have a fair amount of detailed feedback (mostly aesthetic/design wise) which I would like to give you. A lot of it is to do with lighting and your approach to detailing, I think it could be quite a bit better with a bit more polish.
Will you still be developing this enough for it to be worth my while to post the feedback I’ve garnered from my playthrough? Or would you rather I didn’t?
Another question, is your aim with this project to keep things close to the way the BM Devs approached certain areas (in terms of lighting/consistency) or do you simply not care about that? I have feedback for that area too if you’d like it.
Some bugs:
Just played through Uplink. It’s an acceptable first pass but would benefit greatly from gameplay adjustments and aesthetic improvements.
You should add a full uninstaller for Uplink rather than a partial restore of BMS assets.
does the installer version affect Text’s maps by any chance?
There is a big problem with the installation… The mod of the mod (!) replace files in BM which is a problem for futur updates… Also, the mod replace closecaption_.txt files, bm_.txt files and credit_.txt files : there will be replaced in the next update. Especially closecaption_french.txt : The french translation is not the official one, which will be available in the next update. You should remove this unofficial translation or remove all french translation until the release in the next patch.
Another solution is changing the data structure of you mod : make it more independant of the BM files : an update should not replace your files and you should not replace BM files.
By the way, great job ! That’s an amazing work !
Very, very nice work. The battle in the satellite dome seemed to be a bit too difficult. Many with very little health items. Also, I forgot to get the coordinates, but just before the turrets, to the right of the grenades you can get stuck behind those large crates.
Just finished it, pretty awesome.
I loved the revised ending, actually scared me
Very fantastic work Hezus. I felt the nostalgia and enjoyed it.
Suggestions
-Debris at the start of the game after explosion sound.
-I really hoped for the moon in the dark sky. Can you put it back there?
Anyway, I enjoyed it and you did well. I actually felt intense when I hear the WGH tune.
I strongly concur and agree with the concerns expressed by Ulrik.
I just released a mod here on the BMS forums https://forums.blackmesasource.com/showthread.php?t=15636.
Although it does address errors within BMS, it’s most beneficial to those affected with hearing impairment issues.
My mod specifically updates the English language closed caption subtitles by correcting grammatical errors, sentence structure, and adding missing written closed caption dialogue content, so that what is audibly spoken by NPC’s is accurately reflected in the closed caption subtitles that are displayed on-screen. This is accomplished by correcting the “closecaption_english.txt” file and then reflecting those corrections by updating the “closecaption_english.dat” file. Both of these files are overwritten upon installing BMS Uplink.
Although you’ve updated these two files to reflect changes necessary for BMS Uplink, by overwriting my mod’s corrected files, you’re re-incorporating all the errors that exist in the original versions of these two BMS files.
Is is possible for BMS Uplink to be released as an independent and standalone mod, maybe in a folder named BMS Uplink, to keep it completely separate from BMS in order to avoid files being overwritten and potential issues associated with future BMS and/or mod updates? It would make things much simpler and eliminate a lot of headaches.

@Dadster
If you’re concerned about any possible issue, use the zip version: That’s all!
@Problematic A-hole
It should not(mainly because Text hasn’t implemented subs).
Actually it does. The scenes.image has been replaced too. You can just update your scenes.image with Face Poser.
Yeah I didn’t check in this latest version.
In prev. beta versions there were only this conflict.
Just back-up this file:
.\BMS\scenes\scene.image
When I jump to the portal to Xen, your credits affect what the BM Devs created. Is it possible that you can make your credits using titles in the screen and just add music so the BM (real) credits doesn’t get mixed up?.
Also don’t like Uplink being on the chapter selection so here’s what I did.
I made a suggestion to Hezus to change the end a little bit, so his 00 chapter binds his mod to Black Mesa
It’s a nice addition to it.
So Uplink would look a little bit as a test made by the G-Man to see if Gordon is really the right person on the right place to make the difference!
strange thing but the mod don’t work for me!
The first scientist and guard don’t talk if i come up the stairs!
And a “Play Uplink” button as it is in picture would be really cool
[COLOR=‘Red’]–EDIT–
Okay to play without a bug you have to set sv_unlockedchapters to 2
It seems that it is necessary to have the opinion start Uplink or BMS
–EDIT 2–
@Hezus
I’ve found a missing door:
I did download the zip version. Sorry elivance, but you’re missing the present and future conflicts that can be avoided if BMS Uplink is kept entirely separate from BMS. Please read Ulrik’s post carefully to fully comprehend the ramifications, if it is not.
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
