Long time no see…
I want to ask something simple: When the mod was released there were some bugs found, fixes made and even small expansions on certain levels in the first few months. What happened with those to that and where to access the updates files for my new re-install? On the website I still see the v1 installer files.
Many Thanks
P.S. I tried the “search” on the forum but nothing sensible came out of it.
It’s not official, but looks to be pretty well accepted. I remember following those while they were in development, and they looked pretty impressive back then. My assumption is that they still are, will be able to check later today
The fans are allowed, (and are most welcomed by the community) to make their own mod. TextFAMGUY1’s with his Surface Tension: Uncut, and On A Rail: Uncut mods are the most prominent ones (you can check his works in the Leak-Free section of the forum). Other mods include, weapon animation revamp, sound revamp, vortigaunt model change, etc…
But these are not official additions. The BM devs are still working on the Xen levels, and possibly on a major bug fix, and balancing of course. Hopefully they’re in the finishing stages, but the devs won’t release until they’re finished. And we are fine with that.
I completely agree. Patience is a virtue, no better example than last September. The unexpected countdown was a nice touch btw, blew my mind
Well I’m off to play it once again. Difficulty: Hard and cl_crosshair 0 as usual, for the best experience
