I was dreaming before. Even if I didn’t remember them, I still had the “feeling” I dreamed about something. Now I don’t get it at all.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

Welcome to the world of lucid dreaming. You were concious in your dream, so you manipulated it. I always dream about fighting, i’m useally fighting someone who has a knife, i can manipulate it then, but not exactly how i want it.

The other day I woke up and thought I was two Chinese guys representing their Olympic swimming team.

This lasted until I fell asleep in the shower.

My last dream was awesome enough that I rushed to write it down before it dribbled out of my mind-parts:

The first part I don’t remember, but I think it was one of my few nerd dreams and was something to do with OAR…

Anyway, it really got going when I found out that my brother, my father and I (also a rare occurrence for me to dream about family) were part of a space flight programme ran by none other than Terry Pratchett. It was all in the backgarden of his house, which was on a road in my hometown: the rocket was inside his shed which lifted up Thunderbirds style - I don’t know why the rocket wasn’t going straight up, but there we go.

Sadly, since the hydraulics lifting the shed were solar powered, when the clouds blocked out the sun, the shed stopped mid rise. Bummer. To avoid arousing any suspicion (this was a secret space programme, obviously) I jumped up and pulled the shed back down.

Our space programme jeopardised, we travelled back to the family house, and my Granny joined us. On the way back, she casually pointed out a bear on the roundabout near our house. However, as luck would have it, the sun came out again! Huzzah!

So, back to Pratchett’s and inside the rocket! For some reason that probably made perfect sense, the spaceship looked exactly like my living room inside. Fair dues.

Then, the best part of any dream I’ve ever had happened: I actually felt weightlessness. You know how in some dreams you can feel textures and stuff? I felt zero g: I felt my blood rush to my head slightly as it stopped having to fight gravity, felt my stomach contents drift around (weird, but not really unpleasant) and lost all sense of up or down. It was friggin’ badass.

From there on it got a bit hazy: there was something to do with a woman who was a robot trying to blow up Pratchett’s house and almost succeeding.

I love lucid dreaming. I always end up using my powers of flight to inspire terror in the people below. By the end of the dream, they all worship me as a god.

I had a dream the other night where I turned into Raziel and was working as a merc for a gang…I don’t know where that came from.

I’ve never had a Lucid Dream :frowning: . I have had a mild case of sleep paralysis though, just my luck :meh: .

I have weird moments where I see things that aren’t there. I’ve seen bikes and binders on my bed. When I try to grab them, I can’t. The illusion is broken, and I wake up completely.

I also sometimes see people. I’ve seen my friends in my room as if it’s a party. They all look at me and say “Why are you sleeping?” I get up, dance a bit, then realize it’s 3 in the morning.

I’ve never seen or heard anything, it just felt really hard to breathe and I couldn’t move my arms or legs.

Yeah. I don’t have that. I have hypnogogia.

i hate when you’re looking for something, then you dream so hard that you find it in this one place so as soon as you wake up you look at its not even in existence…
or is that just me?
:fffuuu:

I remember my dreams pretty rarely, but something like that almost always happens in the dreams that I do remember. I’ll be trying to do something, go to sleep, and dream that I did it in a perfectly sensible way. When I wake up I realize that the “solution” makes absolutely no sense and would never work in real life.

The complete opposite, actually. I lost $50 once and had a dream that night where I kept finding it in the pocket of a coat I left in school. It got to the poit where I periodically woke up with my hand outstretched.

As it turns out, when I checked, it was there in my coat pocket.

omg, that was fucking amazing. im gonna take a week off for this.

I just ripped out some LEDs to try and build something my cousin and I had worked on once. It basically just emits soft light into your eyes while you sleep to invoke lucid dreaming with your subconscious recognizing the light. I can’t remember exactly to what degree I should enable the resistor though, too much and you wake up when you start dreaming, too little and it has no effect, but it worked in the past and I used it for inspiration in various projects in classes and mapping.

Yeah I get this too. Really bloody annoying. It happens more in some nights than others. I wake up fully conscious but I can’t move any part of my body or even open my eyes. :fffuuu:

lmao

I had that only once, it was really fucked up. I could open my eyes though, but I tried to talk and lift my arm but I just couldn’t move.

Everyone has sleep paralysis, you’re just not supposed to wake up during it.

Yeah, since moving while sleeping is IMPOSSIBLE

Sleepwalking.
