Dude, you’re fucked.

You most likely downloaded a special torrent that triggers the tracker sniffing device. Mininova and some other sites are cooperating with ISP’s and lawyers to find seeders and arrest them. When videotron starts sending you these letters, you can’t download torrents anymore. They know what you’re downloading and how much you are seeding.

I have another friend who has videotron, he downloads from private trackers only because he says public ones are too dangerous.

That’s why I’d rather stay with bell, they block torrents from 4pm to 4am, but most of the time I can download full speed by resetting my modem, and I have downloaded the same movie from the same tracker you’re using with no weird letters.

You can stay with Videotron but only download from private torrent sites, they won’t be able to know what you’re downloading if you force encryption on and use a private tracker.
