Admittedly, I forgot you still had a PS2, but that’s why I said if[/SIZE].
If I decided to get a PS3, I’d prefer to go with an older one that had decent (i.e. hardware) backwards compatibility.

if youve got a fast PC you can play most ps2 games fine with an emulator.
I used the N64 emulator on the PC before. It’s worthless to have if you have a fast PC that can play high quality PC games. It’s only for those people who have slow and weak computers. With Xbox 360 and its’ disc errors, PS3 is a better choice right now. PC is the best choice of all, obviously.
What “disk errors”? I’ve never had a disk read error. Well, that’s not totally true. The one disk it can’t read is my Lost Planet disk…which has a crack going through it.
OMG GUYS KESTER IS BACK
Or maybe it’s just a troll with his username?
THE SUSPENSE… IS KILLING ME!
Surely you’ve heard about the disc errors with Mass Effect on the Xbox 360, Winged One? The game kept on crashing. I would clean the disc and it would work again for a while and then would crash again with the usual disk error message: “This disc is either dirty or damaged.” I just completed the PC version of Mass Effect and I didn’t have to use the disc to play it, just to install it. Intooblivion said in here somewhere that his friends have disc errors with Fallout 3 and other 360 games. And let’s not forget about that red ring of death. After my 360 dies, I might check out the PS3 and I might get it. I might not.
It also depends on the emulator. The best of the best is an N64 one, Project64, but I always seem to have problems with PS2 ones, I tried PCSX2 a while back, and it was a bitch with configuring controllers
.
I hope it’s him. I always thought he was pretty cool.
Yeah, you are right, Siggs. Project64 is the best emulator for the N64 on the PC. It never caused me any problems. Most of the ROM’s worked fine on it. The only other emulator I tried was a Super Nintendo emulator. I played Wolfenstein on it and it worked fine.
Wow, I really suck at TF2.
agreed
.
Its him. I spoke to him on MSN this afternoon.
Rad. Okay then, the forums are that much less fail oriented.
Sounds like you busted the lens.
No, Soup. It was only certain games that had disc errors. Halo 3 has no problems on the 360 and the same thing goes with Perfect Dark Zero. The red ring of death problem has nothing to do with a busted lens since I fixed my first 360 and got it to run for another 6 months. Anyway, most of these errors can be fixed temporarily if you clean the disc after the error shows up.
Probably not a disc read error then, but there’s another clue…
stop cleaning ass with game CD
I personally prefer it when games are installed on the hard drive so that I don’t have to use the CD. While most of you people are playing Crysis using the disc, I have a Crysis “NO-CD” patch that allows me to play Crysis without using the disc. The game was installed using the disc and then the patch was downloaded/installed and now I can play Crysis straight from the hard drive without the Crysis disc.
my 360 broke once and it was fixed for free but now it sounds like a plane takin off so itll prob break again soon
fun games tho
Mini-images are better than cracks.
