That’s what puts me off listening to heavier metal groups. It always just makes me laugh, and it sounds ridiculous.
I don’t mind it in bands like Children of Bodom and The Black Dahlia Murder, but it just sounds so out of place in the melodic progressiveness of BTBAM’s music.
Tommy and Paul are both damn good clean singers. And Dan has a really high-pitched voice.
Tommy’s a good metal vocalist, but yeah, a bit of variety is nice. I like his screams on Colors more than the ones on their self-titled. They sound a bit less…how you put it. “WARRGARBL”-y.
I think the only band with a screamer I listen to is Alexisonfire. But mainly because George’s screaming is understandable and Dallas magnificent voice balances it.
Man I think the first band with a “screamer” I liked was Chiodos and they really don’t have a screamer that I remember (been awhile since I listened to them). Has anyone heard The Blood Brothers I used to think there High pitched singer was screaming until I heard his more poppy stuff and just figured out it was his singing voice 
Er…about 75% of the vocals on Chiodos’ song “The Undertaker’s Thirst For Revenge Is Unquenchable” is screaming.
