Check the processes tab. vrad.exe is probably still running or something (thats normally the case for me)
I fucking hate fucking wireless fucking internet.
USB wifi adaptors and thier shitty drivers can kiss my ass.
I have spent the last 3 hours trying to install this fucking D-Link adaptop and Windows cant even fucking recognise it.
Why can’t people just use ethernet, good old reliable ethernet, who cares if there is a blue cable along the walls, IT FUCKING WORKS.
/rant over.
Ha ha! We’ve all been there, brother!
Fucking D-Link, I just raged at it and installed a TP-Link wifi card instead, which managed to install perfectly the first time.
Ah, the wonders of D-Link wireless!
yesterday was my burfday :retard:
i didnt getted anything
awwwwww… way to ruin the mood dude.
ITS OKAY GUYS. I GET PRESENTS TODAY INSTEAD. YAY MOOD REVIVED \o/
QFT. I used a wireless adapter for ages, putting up with constant poor signal and drop outs. So much rage. Now I have an Ethernet cable running along the floor, which apparently “gets in the way”, so I have to extend it and run it along the wall now. :meh:
Been using wireless for six months now. Works fine. :retard:
It’s all in your choice of chip that powers the adapter, ralink fails, broadcomm is fine, atheros is king.
edit: I would definitely not use wireless for my primary desktop nor my server.
Andy Murray: He’s grumpy git, but Im’a rooting for him.
.
He’s doing pretty well, but in the true British spirit, he’ll fail when needed most.
I used to use wireless, it was a bitch at times. My signal was always shit because my router was eighty feet away in the basement of my house. It was well worth the money to just get a line.
Mine is ok. The router however isn’t. it has a problem with static and needs a power cycle every few hours.
Wireless will always be inferior to wired.
Honestly I use a hardline for all my desktop PCs and use the wireless for laptops.
My dad has wired up the house so there’s ethernet ports on the wall in all the bedrooms, living room and lounge rooms. All the ports lead to a central point in a cupboard in the middle of the house where the router modem is.
Yeah, I’m getting an electrician in next week to put an ethernet port in the kitchen next to the router and one in my room, so I don’t have to use the wireless 54mbs network my mum and sisters use.
