So tomorrow is the day that I drive my sister down to Atlantic City for a bit of gambling fun. She has had the children for the last year due to her husband being in Iraq, and now that he is back I am treating her to some away time while he watches over them.
And as the day approaches, I am not worried about losing all of my money. I’m not bringing that much and I have lost more before. No, I’m more worried about bumping into that woman again, as my sister and I both like to play at the same casino where I bumped into her the last two times…
Dude, seriously. Get the fuck over her and/or tell her to get the fuck over you (and that you don’t want to talk to her, blahblahblah). I mean this in a positive and caring way, by the way.
If all you can think about when you’re treating your sister is ‘that woman’ then you are clearly doing it wrong and you will probably not have a lot of fun.
The best advice I can give you is to approach the day with an open mind and don’t worry too much about how it’ll turn out. Focus on the fun, nothing else, 'mkai?
I don’t get over anything. Plus, I’m a paranoid son of a bitch. So when someone thought they saw her the other night (they didn’t), it just renewed my paranoia all over again.
I will probably still enjoy myself, and chances are she won’t be there (it’s a three hour drive for either of us), but I will still be keeping an eye out searching the corners for people to pop out from.

Usually when I wake up drunk Im like “What a beautiful day!” and I get up and start cooking sausages and eggs and all this shit, then about half way through I pass out on the couch and wake up to a room full of smoke.

Huzzah! I tried to do a full compile on my Portal map, and not only did Hammer and all of Steam crash, but now my computer is flipping the hell out! Task manager indicates that my CPU usage is 100% in both cores! But nothing out of the ordinary is running! This is great!
