Most people seem to be pretty positive about it, from what I’ve heard. Makes a change from all the OMG VISTA IS CARP!!!111 stuff. Not sure about what they’ve done to the taskbar, but I daresay I’ll get used to it.
So far, Windows 7 is brilliant. The only problems I’ve encountered are compatibility problems which were easily resolved. My laptop runs smoother than ever before, and the interface etc. is great too.
Not in my experience. Programmers/developers/database admins/systems installers sure, but there are plenty of entry level IT jobs that range down to ‘someone to help the non-techies to put more paper in the printer’ that don’t. I know people doing quite well for themselves now in IT in non-graduate jobs.
I would gladly help people put paper in a printer, if they paid me money for it.
To be consistent with your attitude towards piracy and GMod and stuff, I think you should just go around to people’s offices and do things like that for free. Why should people feel obliged to pay you for your hard work?

But you just said in another thread that even if BM was to cost, you would pirate it, regardless of whether or not you would buy a legit copy.
That was the joke, because the BM team swore that they will never make us pay for the mod, I admitted that I would pay for it regardless, but I pointed out that I would pirate a copy as revenge for breaking their promise.
