Nope but you HAVE to command then CDs/DVDs each week/month. If you don’t, they send you some anyway and you’ll have to pay for them. And it’s nearly impossible to unsubscribe.

On another note, been playihng TF2 all evening, and after finally getting the Huntsman (still want Jarate and the new Spy watches, grr) I have fallen head over heels in love with it. I much better with it than I am with the rifle, and it’s just so brilliant in every way, I never want to use another gun again, I just want Jarate to use with it.

I left my PC specing a server while I slept last night, got 8 dupes (3 kritzkrieg), but a hunstman was one of them.
Then when playing with El today on his ESG server I got the Cloak and Dagger.
Also, someone set up a BM game of TF2 soon.

It seems I am not the only Spy.
It’s a lovely idea (and I still haven’t gotten to play nucleus, we don’t often get Arena going on my clan servers) but it’s a bit geographically infeasible. I did have fun playing on Jean Paul’s server last year, but I’m sure my extreme-laggy jumping around made it frustrating for anyone trying to hit me. This is why I’ve been playing a lot with the European contingent of BM fans a lot.
Kritzkrieg is super inconisistant, sometimes there’s only 2 guys around, and you’re a heavy that’s too far away, and you’re like, ‘well fuck, an uber would be nice, but now I’m still going to be killed’.
Ohhh, but second stage goldrush, that final push that always takes 7-8 minutes, and a heavy walks in with kritzkrig when the entire team isn’t expecting it, you can wipe out everything. I did that a couple days ago and got 7 or something kills in the span of the kritz, plus capped the cart. So good.
Well, the point of the updates is that the weapons are situational.
My main problem with the source engine is still the water splashes and such, they look terrible, sure they have nice particle effects, but if something big falls in the water, it makes 5 different splashes spread out over the object. That’s just me though.
In other news, I just set up my mouse and keyboard to be able to switched between my two computers. It’s pretty nifty to be able to use one mouse for both my laptop and my desktop.
