Unforeseen Consequences: all stuck posts collection

Yes, right after the lazers. I’ve searched. No crowbar. Can you post a picture of where the crowbar is? I doubt I missed it, but no one is perfect…

The door windows are broken

Sorry for being stupid, I am with HL1 mentality in my head

I feel like an idiot. Didn’t occur to me that I could fit through. Thanks.

Protip : don’t search for the crowbar, it’s not in the same place as HL but a lil bit farther in the chapter.

You are welcome

So…I watched a playthrough on youtube, in the control room with the giant elevator, you need to jump up a couple crates then climb in an air duct. The guy in the video jumps right up no problem.

When I jump, I don’t get anywhere close to high enough to get on that same crate. What’s going on?

(this is right after you flood the sewer and climb out)

Crouch Jump!

Jump and pull your legs up at same time.

I may be missing something obvious here, but I’m at the large freight elevator that goes down at an angle and the button on the elevator is unresponsive.

The security station is locked and the windows cannot be broken.
I see no other way to start the elevator and I can’t backtrack past the flooded pipes area.
Should the elevator start when I press the button?
Does the button need to be activated somehow?
Is this a glitch?
Will continuously hitting the button with the crowbar help?
So many questions…

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

You’ll have to activate the security access. Come through the vents to reach the security overview.

Red light in the wall near boxes oddly stacked like stairs

I found it! Big shoutouts to Striker and Mutto, you guys really came through!

Alright, so I’ve made it past the area where you jump on the boxes across the wide chasm. You go up the ladder, down the hall, and you end up at either a spot where there’s a drop off into another water-filled chasm, or what looks like a stock room with a couple boxes hanging from the ceiling, a non-functional elevator, and a fork-lift. I’m stuck. Anyone make it past this point yet?

In the last thread, which you locked, I said:

You said that the elevator buttons inside the car have to be pushed. The problem is that I can’t get into the car. There doesn’t appear to be a way to open the elevator doors.

I’m stuck at the exact same point. The answer I got in my thread is “Go to your right, there is an open door”. Which was not helpful and my topic got locked. :expressionless:

Anyway, the hint you got was to go into the forklift car thingy and push buttons to activate the elevator on the other side of the room?

Oh and a sidenote to mods/admins/devs, please do not lock topics. The answers given on the same spot where two different people are stuck are both different and did not get us any further, but the topics got locked. Can’t reply to the same topic to say that the answer wasn’t helping so the only option is to post a new topic, which sadfully polutes the forums.

just my 2 cents

So the deal is that the elevator door is supposed to be open. If it isn’t the fix seems to be to go to a previous save. I went to a save half way across the suspended boxes and by the time I got back to that room, the elevator door was open.

This is clearly a bug.

I was searching for it everywhere near to the lift, where you cause the lift accident, but i cant find it.

i haven’t played it yet, but in Robbaz playthrough he found it on a door as a barricade to stop the door from opening, don’t worry keep on going, you’ll find it.

Hi everyone!
