Unforeseen Consequences: all stuck posts collection

Well, actually, that’s the second time the same thing happens, the first time was when you leave the guard and you go take the crowbar and you need to jum up in that hole in the wall, i needed to put some chairs next to it so i could jump up, it didn’t work good, but i did it. This time i need to jump up in the boxes so i can get in the calefaction to get inside the Centinel Room. But i just can’t jump high enough, i tried to put the barrel next to the box, and i managed to get on the third box, which is the last, but i couldn’t get inside the calefaction.

Screens:

Two words : crouch jumping. Like in HL.

I am stuck in an elevator just after getting the hazmat suit. The door in front of me won’t open when I push E or approach it, and there doesn’t seem to be a button or anything to trigger it. There is a ladder to the right, but it is blocked at the top and there is nothing at the bottom. Help? I tried saving and reloading, but that didn’t seem to fix it.

Okay, I fixed it by starting a new game. There’s a load screen that should trigger right there, but if you walk out of the elevator before it FULLY touches the ground it does not trigger and there is no way to re-trigger it, but if you start a new game or load from a while back, you can just ride the elevator slightly more patiently (I walked out probably .2 seconds before it fully stopped) it will trigger and you can move on. Bug report for the devs, but I personally got around it without sv cheats or anything else. Carry on!

Hello

I have no crowbar in Unforeseen Consequences level.

I tried to load it again, but it’s always the same. :[

So I can’t destroy the window.

I’m in the same boat as you. According to GameFaqs for HL1, it’s supposed to be by the dead body right after avoiding the lasers. No crowbar to be found.

Thought I was losing my mind.

In Black Mesa, you’re restricted to using flares to burn zombies. Eventually you’ll find the crowbar wedged in a door, as if someone was trying to force it open.

You find it later indeed. BUT they were actually trying to jam the door closed not force it open :stuck_out_tongue:

You get the crowbar later in the game, it’s not in the same spot as HL.

That makes… a LOT of sense. But how do you light the inactive flares? I tried hovering them over a fire but nothing happened. :frowning:

^THIS…

People need to realize that the developers of this mod have changed a couple of little things in the game, but keeping most of the game that same.

Note, I’ve done a search, and I believe I may have found another topic with the same issue I’ve had, however, the details were lacking, So I am unsure. My apologies if this has been posted.

It’s an issue with a door that doesn’t open. Not the elevator door, which some people have posted issues with that. It’s the corridor where you need to crouch under the first red laser, and dodge the second red laser (the second one blasts a half-dead security guard to pieces). More specifically, it’s after the part where you need to crouch jump to proceed (while dodging one of those metroid looking things)

Please note I’ve never played the original HL, (I heard about this a year or so ago, and decided to wait until BM came out to try it), so my apologies if I am missing something obvious.

Thanks!

Also, if there is an official guide, if anyone could post a link, I’d appreciate it.

Can you post a screenshot, I don’t know what door you’re talking about.

Honestly, I’m not sure how in BM. Also, when I figure out how to take one, where do I put the picture? Does this board support direct screenshots, or do I need to ut it on imageshack or another picture hosting website?

Screenshot ingame : F12

Here you can make an attachment or use a pic hosting site, your choice.

So, you are going to post it?

Sorry that took so long. Had to boot up the game again. I didn’t think you’d guys would be so fast! Thanks!

You are suppose to break the window with the crowbar, if that’s the door just after the laser thingy

Hrmm. Really? I scoured the area. No crowbar.

Have you tried crawling?
