at this time, as we looked on how we lost data and it looks like the HD was wiped. With our system reading the drive as 0MB. Which could lead to believing it was an attack. But we have no idea for sure.
At this time Facepunch is facing the same problem we had before our drives died. Around the same time as us too. I really don’t know what’s going on over there so don’t quote me on this. Let’s hope they are only having a small server issue.
That actually makes the most sense. Considering it was all of the hard drives, I’d say it wasn’t coincidence.
Well, let’s hope you find any vulnerabilities that may have been exploited, to prevent any future possible attacks.

Are you really that dumb? vBulletin forums aren’t hosted on the same server and if you paid attention to the facepunch status message, garry’s twitter or blog you would know why it’s down.
Its not even loading for me.

Umm… yeah, I really should feel stupid because I knew long before this that he was planning on moving to amazon’s server services a while ago. In my defense, I didn’t know that it would cause any problems, and didn’t make the logical connection.
